Nov. 4 Press Briefing @ GSA in Indianapolis: Diverse Elders Coalition Uplifts Experiences and Challenges for Diverse Family Caregivers to Older Adults

At The Gerontological Society of America's 2022 Annual Scientific Meeting in Indianapolis, Indiana, the Diverse Elders Coalition is presenting a luncheon briefing featuring research and stories of the lived experiences of diverse family caregivers for older adults. This briefing is being held with the generous support from The John A. Hartford Foundation.

The Diverse Elders Coalition (DEC), as well as representatives from the Benjamin Rose Institute on Aging and The Care Plan, will share research, lived experiences, and stories and trends for diverse family caregivers for older adults. The panelists will provide insights on the unique challenges and strengths caregivers who identify as people of color; American Indian/Alaska Native; and/or LGBTQ+ face in caring for their older adult loved ones.
