- The AGHE Standards and Guidelines document includes gerontology and geriatrics curriculum and program parameters for all levels of degree granting programs ( associate, bachelors, masters and doctoral) in gerontology and health professions education as well as undergraduate and graduate certificates and minors.
- The AGHE Program of Merit (POM) recognition is available to academic gerontology programs and all health professions programs that integrate geriatrics/gerontology competencies within the curriculum that meet AGHE Standards and Guidelines and other measures of program quality.
- Enhanced listing in the Online Directory of Educational Programs in Gerontology and Geriatrics that assists in promoting your institution’s visibility and enrollment.
- Ensure your students are prepared for interactions with older adults by adding Ageism First Aid as an instructional component in your program.
