Careers in Aging Week March 26 - April 1, 2023.
GSA hosts Careers in Aging Week every year to raise awareness about the diverse careers available in the field of aging.
People are living longer and populations are aging worldwide. The demand for professionals with expertise in aging is growing rapidly. Careers in Aging Week (CIAW) is observed every year by businesses, clinics, coalitions, organizations, universities, colleges, and other parties across the world. The goal of CIAW is to bring greater awareness and visibility to the wide-ranging career opportunities in the field of aging.
Schedule of Upcoming Events for Careers in Aging Week:
- Monday, March 27 – Careers in Aging Roundtable Discussion with six professionals in the aging field; Listen to recording.
- Tuesday, March 28, 1PM ET – The National Center to Reframe Aging will be hosting a Twitter chat #CaeersInAgingChat, in recognition of Careers In Aging Week.

This Twitter chat will facilitate a conversation on how the principles of reframing can be applied to our work in the growing field of aging. - Thursday, March 30, 1-3PM ET - The Erickson School of Aging Studies (ESAS) at UMBC Speed Mentoring Event. Activity will allow small groups of students to sit, meet and talk with a professional in the field of aging.
